A frame I made of Saddam's execution
I was in the city of Karak for eid, the day Saddam died.
I made this frame. Made it for myself. For someone. For history.
A moment i wanted to remember. A face frozen on celluloid. On a 6x6 negative. In black and white. No unnecessary color. Pure photography.
Photography is the way i'll remember things one day, when memories would have faded.
Shot on a Rolleiflex medium format camera. Kodak tri-x at 1600
Labels: film photography

i come over at times to check this frame. Just thought of saying so.
not for who saddam is or what he did or anything, but to think of how things take a weird turn at some times.
